Interesting. My GT2 GT700/750 courtesy of Imagine Auto and Evolution Motorsports made 637RWHP @ 5500RPM & 645RWTQ @ 5000RPM on 100 unleaded @ 1.5 BAR on a very conservative Mustang Dyno. Using PSI's drivetrain loss factor, this equates to 758FWHP and 767FWTQ. That means that I am making only 49 less FWHP (807 for PSI) at 800 less RPM, but I am making 95 more FWTQ (672 for PSI) at 220 less RPM.

I remember a lot of discussion about making power under the curve...looks like EVOMS, Imagine Auto, and GIAC have figured that one out. Sure, I run a little higher boost, but who cares? If the programming and fuel needs are sufficient, a little smaller turbo and a little more boost can do wonderful things.

Neil, what are they using for fuel in that car?

That is a badass ride by the way. How much for the added girth?

Cleve

Found the conversion factor for Kilowatt to horsepower. So this car is making 781 horsepower at the flywheel and 657 to the wheels.

Cleve you also have one bad *** car.
The dyno's used in Europe are very different from the ones used in the USA and are very conservative.
My reasoning for this comment is that our 650hp Motor only made 495ps @ the wheels yet was able to achieve 0-60 in 3.1 sec & 1/4 mile in 11.1 sec.

Cleve hope to see you at the next DE at Road Atlanta and see your beast in person.

When are we going to see some head to head dyno competition! All this chitter chatter about converting and who's more conservative is getting boring. Get the cars organized for a winner takes all dyno day for crying out loud!

Couldn't agree more. My point is this PSI thing appears to be legit. I'm very glad to see that. I just want to compare the numbers, 100 RPM at a time, and make my own quantitative assesment. This qualitative stuff has run it's course. IMVHO. I'm sure the debating will really get interesting after some head-to-head dyno action!

Let's Get It On!

That's what the National Meet/Shootout is going to be all about. Besides having a DE for everyone interested we plan to put all the big shooters together on the track for testing!
