Drivers side mirror glass replacement

I searched this forum and YouTube with minimal luck, so I'm hoping someone here can help me.
I want to replace the glass portion of my drivers side mirror.

On a Chevy Suburban I just pried the glass off with a screwdriver and pressed the new one in place... Is it the same procedure for a 996 TT?

Thanks for any insight you might have,
Dan

Never done it on the TT but here's what the repair manual mention. There is a metal clip in the back with two wires…See step 2:

It kinda sounds like you just pull it off... I'll give it a try as soon as my replacement mirror shows up.

Thanks for the help.

Did mine - adjust the mirror to the farthest inward setting then pull with your fingers until it pops out.
