I drove an RS6 a couple of weeks ago. I don't think the target market for this car is the same as the Phaeton. This car is intended for the E55/M5 buyer wheras the Phaeton is shooting for S class, 7 series, A8, XJ buyer.

Speaking of auto shows, I went to the Boston show today (if you can call it that!). They didn't have a Phaeton at the VW display, although I was surprised that there was a TT Cab and and '04 TT Coupe.

Evan, the TT Coupe was White with black with some white accents (doors & belt outlets) and red deviating stitching. It actually looked real good. I think yours will look even better with the white center console and sport seats.

Louis, regardless of the section the thread was posted in, it looks like we got a little sidetracked ...

Any idea when the Magnum is due? And naturally, JAS hinted at something far more important

They did not have a firm date. I was really surprised with the quality of the vehicle as well as the power.

Porsche really needs to step it up with the next gen Turbo. We are starting to see "ordinary" cars with over 400hp.

Crazy thing, I know that VW hasn't released the Phaeton yet, but, I saw one driving down the street today. BMW did the same thing with the 5 series, I would see the new 530 driving around Chicago before it was released.

Thanks Louis. I totally agree, it's amazing how much power is around now... and so much more coming, not to mention the new M5 and the Supra rumors. Schneller! Schneller!
