Hey Ron. Your saying the fronts are set firmer than the rears? Your set at 4 & 3 out 12??

We have had much success with the H&R bars. Too big of a sway bar can make the ride harsh for the street. However, the 24/25's from H&R are a nice compromise.

They are easy to install and require no lubrication of the bushings.

I'm not Ron, but PSS9s are scaled 1-9 with 1 being firmest!

Thanks. Is that the standard way to quote the setting - quote from the firm side? If so, mine are set at 8/16 front and 5/16 rear.

With pss9, the lower the number the stiffer, or firmer. Other coil overs??

Any one running pss9 for street driving running 3 front 2 rear? Wondering if that is much stiffer over bumps than 4 front 3 rear? Its easy to change but curious for opinions. Also mike the bars you mentioned, what are the stock sizes for a turbo and how does this compare to the H&R ones you mentioned.

I like the new H&Rs.. actually thicker diameter than the GT3 or Eibach kits... I prefer it that way. All about the girth!

That's what she says...

Back to the topic, I had it 3(front) & 3(rear) on my 993 Cab, it rode fine. When I used 6(front) & 9(rear), it rode like a Caddy.

Is the H&R sways easy to install? Is it a DIY project? or do you need to remove other car parts.

TIA.

Ron very easy to do. Front takes half an hour if that.. Jack the car up and use jack stands and go for it... The fronts are a bit more of a PIA since you have to remove the underbody panel but it's not too bad. Otherwise just have the homies at Lucent do it!

If thickness/girth is your goal (and I personally agree with that goal), your best choice is the sway bars made by Turbo Performance Center. They are 24 and 30 mm, respectfully. That is thicker than any other set of sway bars that I am aware of. TPC makes them for their race car.

Craig
