I love hearing the "crackle" when I start it up cold and when you let off the gas and back on quickly. It's a great system!

Thanks

I attach a picture of the damaged and one of the good cat for your pleasure...
check your engine ...maybe a boostleak could be the reason for this failure

it looks like a overheated cat

this to prevent your new exhaust for a failure

The "good cat" looks like its about to go as well! I doubt it's Europipe as they generally use high quality German cats.

Have you considered Kline, I've had it on my car for over 12 months and just love it.

eds966tt is infamous around these parts
Im using the SpeedTech X 200 cell with no drone and with good sound.
Been on the car for 2 + years and on highwy or at a DE event its a good fit.
I say good because - no cell issues - go through inspection - pass - with no issue and dont have any downtime swaping out systems or pipes. May not be optimum for best power - not using 100 cell cats and only at 500 hp so it works well for my intended use
good luck

I've been happy with my AR Design 3" with 200 cel cats. No drone for me and cats are modular vband so you have the option of dropping in straight pipes for track days. Great customer service also , only note is the mufflers that are used will hang a little lower than stock but overall have been very happy.

I bought a Fabspeed catless 2.75'' X system with the four separate mufflers and tested it on the dyno against my 100 cell Milltek,, made a thread on it, I could not stand the sound in the cabin ..
Took it off and sold it,,put my old faithful back on which I am glad I did .

you are also comparing a catless system (ours) to a catted system (milltek), had you put our catted system on the car I suspect you would have been very happy.

HI,,Thanks for your reply..You do make a high quality system.
Maybe So in regards to the sound issue inside the cab as you stated?
But your catless sytem didnt show any noticeable power improvement on the dyno in the mid to upper RPM range,,It did help spool and power a little bit coming up to full boost..
Believe me I was happy to get your system ..... BUT then I did take a big hit selling it after I saw the outcome +results..

It looks like a Europipe... I saw the pics... but hes running 1.4 bar and the exhaust may be 10 plus years old on race gas... high temps etc may dislodge the cats... I suggest catless in his config if at all possible... especially since he tracks the car...
