Amazing, soft launch and run 10.14. I suspect your soft launch is why you ran 10s. 162mph means you should be running 9s pretty easy.

Guessing a 1.6 would be tranny parts on the ground?

 

I was on the rev limiter before I realized it in forth and had time to throw 5th but... It was just a blur to tell the truth. I had no expectations of throwing 5th gear, was prepare to row 4 gears. Next time I will think 5..

The soft launch was do to the R6 hoosier tires. You can see them hazing and all so showing that the tire psi was too low. I have a lot of data to sort through

It is a testament to the power of your car that you hit the rev-limiter in 4th and made it into 5th and yet still pulled a great time. I was surprised to see that you stayed on the hoosier's for the pass, but it is yet another testament to the car. The R6's are not drag tires and yet you still had a great pass. I can't wait until I get to see it in person.

Thank you. I did not throw 5th tho. I rode the limiter out in 4th. I will get a time and distance on that when I can review the data fully.

 

Tim nice pass. DR's and solid launch and easily mid 9's. Going to be an expensive road with that much power throwing at the rear end, haha.

 

Congrats Tim...162mph is high 8 second territory...likely very low 9's in that car. I suspect with good tires and a good 60ft, (1.5 or less) you will be in the 9.20-9.00 zone...

 

/\ couldn't agree more. my supra did 8.9-9.0 at 162. I know the cars are different but I was using M800 w great tuning help and it did the trick. I hope to see some low 9's high 8's in your future Tim. It would be even more awesome to do it and then drive her home after words.

That's scooting! I'm curious if you plan to launch it more aggressively. I can see that snapping up your transmission and axles. I know you already broke an axle some time ago. Thanks for the video.
