Engine back in and not. Running right

Fixed the coolent pipes, added 72 lb injectors and an ipd plenum ... Loaded new software and started... Fire shooting out of the exhaust and poping and the like, the plugs fouled out.... Fast forward. Loaded the new file last night. No fire shooting out but all other not right still there. No vacuume or brakes,,,, boosting to .3 just putting down the road poping all the way. Hunting to try to idle. There was a code p1250 but I am not sure when that showed up. Something is clearly not right. There should be vacuume being generated. I will ad a video or two.

the plugs for the cam actuators and the #1 and #4 injectors are identical. if you swap them by mistake the car will run like absolute crap and you will likely kill the injector that is swapped by mistake

So the plenum popped off and that was the issue? Backfiring can cause that...hoses to pop off, etc. I'm thinking a timing issue. Like what 32krazy mentioned. Let us know.

We double checked all else and all seems fine. Added a hose clamp on the plenum were they all seem to crack. Should be a few days and we try her...

I clean the hell out of the rubber couplers. I use brake cleaner to do so. Any oil in there or on the intake will greatly help the intake to pop off

Note to self... this big coolent hose has a clip on both sides to hold it in. The clip is just slightly different on either end. They interchange but are not interchangeable. The hose will pop out if they are wrong. I looked it up on the drawings. They have different part numbers.

Yes the one that goes on the engine side is slightly bigger then the one that goes on the body side.

I found it while doing my pressure test! If you look at post #110 you will see there is in fact more than six types of clips…Not to interchange!
