Boost Pressure!!!

How much does how hot it is [outside temp.] and the humidity affect the boost pressure reading on the gauge, or does it not affect the reading?

There are a number of factors (e.g., Temperature and barometric pressure) that can affect turbo boost, but these are not going to effect the gauge reading itself???

Not made clear!!

I guess I did not make my question clear. I am implying that if the boost gauge reading fluctuates under acceleration then is it possible that it does so because of the factors you mentioned. In other words, if under full throttle in 2nd gear I get 0.7 sometimes and 0.9 other times then is it temperature and humidity that accounts for it.

Thanks for the help.

Well, that and the boost curve that is pre-programmed into the ECU:

#1 = stock boost curve on K16 turbos

Notice from the graph that the stock turbos start making boost at 1100 RPM.
