Hmmm. 510HP just isn't enough for you, eh? I could swear that at one point you told me that you had plenty of horsepower and wouldn't require any more. Damn this board for seducing us!

Congrat's on the new package. Don't worry - I won't tell the wife about it.

Hope all is well with you and the family.

Hey Alex - yep - long time. I've been busy dealing with non-p-car issues and haven't been able to enjoy my true passion. Wheels and the new and improved V-flow intake are next on my list, but for now the bank account is locked tight. We'll have to catch up some time soon. Let me know next time the group is headed out for cocktails and I'll join in.

Cool. I like to see RS race FastEddie back from Davenport next time.

Rich, looks like I will be heading to Pune/Hyderabad, India in october. Any practical tips/advisories from you?

When it comes to motor internals and overall reliability, would the GT640 kit be OK on a daily driver that spends most of its time dawdling in traffic?

Can the package be bought without a Fabspeed?

Yes on all counts Red Comet. When you get to the GT700 levels you'll likely need a rebuild after 40k miles or so. The GT640 is further away from the edge so to speak. Daily driven GT640s is the way it's meant to be played!

You can absolutely but it without that exhaust. If you already have one then you get credit for that or if not you can just get this one instead as an upgrade:

Oh - good point. After RS's upgrade, we'll have a re-do of the Davenport run. Ed will have his white GT-2 this time rather than his white GT-3.

Re: your trip to Hyderabad. My advice: don't drink the water or else you'll end up with Dehli belly.
I can give you more great advice next time I see you, which I'm sure will be soon!

- Rich

p.s. - I'm still loving the exhaust!! By far my favorite mod.

i agree. a good sounding exhaust is the best mod, even above flashing, ssk, or coilovers. u can enjoying it even cruising around the neighborhood.

yes, when we do the davenport run again, maybe I'll bring a PSI-650 car to have some fun with a GT2 and a 640

Good idea to upgrade the clutch at stage 4 and higher.

I would also not go above 600 hp without internals.
