We have two cars. the 996tt X50 flashed, and the Hulk; 1987 951 402 RWHP. My Son Philip was in the Air Force and saw lots of crap. He came home half deaf and married. Now, not married, Thank God; he is finishing his Degree in Accounting. There is nothing better than the two of us going in the cars for ride, with each driving the cars, and haveingthe best time. Although; every loser in the world wants to race, I do not want to die because of their inability to control a car or a car that is unsafe. To the folks out there, if you can; spend time with your kids and if you have a few cars, go out and enjoy these moments. My parents died when I was young and I never had this, yet I am living vicariously thru my Son as the the child. This weekend my wife and I are doing the marriage vow thing again. Only our kids and their families will be there, and yes we will have the cars out. Too bad the other three kids aren't into cars, would just have to have had more. So it is party time for us starting Friday.

 

Congrats and wishing you and your wife many more years together. Agreed with engaging the kids-- as you can see in my profile pic. We're getting another Pcar so we can split up and have all 4 kids cruising. Going on our first rallye tomorrow as a family.

Something about cars that just bonds people in a deep camaraderie. I have 3 little boys and my oldest is 7 who is starting kart lessons. My 2 yr old is always going "Vroom, vroom!" when I get home from work.

 

That's a great story. My dad is responsible for getting me into Porsches at an early age. My wife just bought her first so we have 3 Pcars in the garage now. My kids (8 & 6) have already told me what color Porsches they want when they grow up. Great memories, driving yo Laguna Seca, car shows, road trips, cars & coffee...priceless! Enjoy those times...
