Looks like they started the car with the door closed and then possibly and accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.

It must be you guys get used to pushing the clutch before you start the car, up till recently none of our cars had this feature and its rare to see this sort of accident! What does bug me is when people remove the safety switch on an auto so it will start in any gear and just shoot off forwards or backwards.

The damage isn't severe -- a little buff and some duct tape fix that up. ��

IIRC...believe it was a Porsche Canada media car, journalist had it at home for the weekend and his younger son accidently started it in gear...
