Seems like there are alot of new tt owners?

Is this true (are they becoming harder to find?) or are more people just finding 6speed?

By the way welcome to all the new owners!

As the prices drop more people buy. SO MANY cars available for what I paid for my 4S a couple years ago.

So very true. And a lot of these cars are not driven...so they are good buys all around.

Yes, the prices are dropping fast. Over the last few months, they have gone from the mid $80's to the mid $60's for fairly low mileage examples. Yes, MID $60'S! I saw a couple of really low mileage cars on ebay with a buy it now of $64k and $66k. At those prices, it's easy for people to get into them. I think there are so many out there that 993 Turbos are fetching higher $.

The 996TT value still has room on the downside, we still havent seen the later cars hit the market, like the 03, 04, 05, wait till the 996TT hits the floor and everyone has to have it.

Were those the "Buy it Now" prices or the initial bidding prices with a seperate "reserve" price?

Just curious as the two are quite different...as I'm sure you already know.

I agree (in contradiction to my recent post) that prices are coming down.

3 Factors are hurting resale: 997 TT coming soon, Winter coming (less buyers), warranty running out on 01s.

One is arena red / grey not good color for resale, the other has over 33,000 miles, hardly low miles and both have probably seen harsh winters from looking at their locations. Also both are out of warranty.

Not reserve or initial bid. These are "Buy it Now" prices. I was just as surprised as you are now. There are an awful lot out there in the $70s though. I agree, they have not yet hit rock bottom. More and more '02s will be coming off lease too.
