Gathering Parts and Instructions for TT Oil Change
Before I do an oil change, I just want to verify that the following parts and tools are the right ones needed to do the job.
PARTS LIST:
Filter: 996-107-225-52
Oil Tank - copper crush ring: 900-123-010-20
Turbo Tanks - steel crush ring (Need 2): 900-123-140-30
Oil Filter - shaft small O ring: 999-707-465-40
Engine - steel crush ring: 900-123-118-30
TOOLS LIST:
Filter wrench (size?)
27mm closed end wrench
15 mm socket
19mm socket
8 mm Hex socket
Torque wrench
Does anyone have the torque specs?
Good places to buy listed parts (any sponsors)?
Also, if someone knows in advance which tools are used for which part of the draining process, I will add it to the post. Otherwise, it'll have to wait until I get around doing the change myself.
Judging from the parts list, it looks like we have to drain the oil tank, two turbo tanks, and the engine.
I will update this as necessary so that we have it on archive.

You might want to try Suncoast Porsche FL for parts.. their price is very competitive.

Stephen...make sure you get the filter wrench from Porsche. I tried to use a universal one...went on for a hour cursing at the damn tool and gave up. Drove down and picked up the tool from Porsche for about $20 bucks.
