went grocery shopping front trunk won't open

Parked the car in the garage I can hear something moving but trunk won't release. I looked online for Manual front trunk release. And I can't find anything some people say it's on driver side some say passenger side fender I can't find any hatch release wire. Anyone? I know it's in the fender. Which side

As already stated, for LHD, behind passenger side wheel well liner. When you take the front bumper off some time (to clean the debris off the radiators), hook the emergency trunk release cable to your tow hook...then you are good to go.

i'm not aware of any manual backup method to open the rear decklid..beyond the fact that the cable is easily reachable when the decklid is already open. you can engage/disengage the latch by manipulating the lever and keep it ( the latch ) in "closed" position when working on reachable stuff. but i guess all that really does is turn the decklid light off lol

both of my cables were located behind the drivers side headlight and tailight respectively. works great if the lids are open so you can get the lights out!

For rear deck lid its behind/drivers side tail-light 2 screws, take the taillight out, line is there, which makes no sense.

Unless for rear that line supposed to be sticking out somewhere else and someone left in there - I will check the manual
As far for the front I'm going to take out the headlight and see where the line is going maybe its in there same spot as in rear?
