My car has what looks to be an OEM navigation disc unit, but an aftermarket Pioneer touch screen head unit. Since I just bought the car and figuring this thing out, did you need the navi disc to work the unit or once its installed it wasn't needed? Also does the navi disc player double as a cd player unit? Trying to see if I still have navi or if I even have a cd player.
