I have taken my wife's Toyota when new in for the free maintenance/oil changes and gotten it back smoked in, have had numerous other incidents at many locals. My point is this is was happens when people that don't own a vehicle and usually younger get behind the wheel. I believe there is sometimes a little jealousy but that's just my opinion.

Entire procedure goes for about 22 minutes, however he never opens the hood to move strut mounts for camber adjustments, so my car gets returned to me with cross camber in the red "because it is 13 years old".

There are older techs but most doing inspections oil changes etc are younger. The shop techs that do state inspections on my Audis are all under 30. But yes some people never grow up or learn respect for others property. I would have mentioned this as you did to foreman and then forgotten about it and went to another shop.

"He should have told the customer to f#@* off!" Haha, that is one miserable old codger. No wonder he's still aligning cars, with an attitude like that he's destined to get nowhere in life.
