Carbon fibre Bumperettes

I'm aware of bumperplugs painted rear Bumperettes. Are there're any supporting vendors or another source for the Bumperettes fab'd out of CF?

I've never seen any, but it should be fairly easy to have done custom if that's what you want.

Doesn't seem like that would be too good of an idea, using CF as the first line of defense against love taps in the parking lot. Just my $.02.

I thought about that, but couldn't be any worse than the repaint bill after a love tap on the painted deals.

You could always have your stock bumperettes hydrodipped if you just want the look or if your old ones are banged up. I can't really think of any advantages of having true carbon bumperettes. You can get a kit for $70 from mydipkit.com and the finished product is actually pretty nice if done properly.

Hydro-dipped parts don't belong on a 911, especially not fake CF dip in such a visible spot on a car....

That's the remaining $.98 of what I didn't say earlier.

Genuine or nothing, and CF bumperettes could mean some 'spensif love taps!

I totally see your point. Everyone has their opinion on hydrodipping...me personally I wouldnt do it and it definitely wouldnt be my first choice. I was just offering an alternative to the OP.

At the same time and to my understanding this is the same or similar process automakers use for interior trim pieces. This is also not only limited to carbon fiber but also woodgrain/ other patterned finishes.

every c/f piece on a porsche is a wrap. order from the factory its a wrap. not a single interior piece is a true c/f fabbed piece.
