Damn. I took wheels off my car and gave them a good wash on the inside. What I found was corrosion. Lots of it. It seems paint peeled off but alloy seems intact. Anyone had this? What's the best option to proceed? Anything special about painting alloys or is it simply a question off prep, prime, paint?

Just with sandpaper and go, or use filler first?

I would sand and then wet sand if you want really smooth. I would not try filler as I doubt it would stay in. There are some good paints online from Grotts etc.
