Is my slave master/accumulator bad?
Is my slave master/accumulator bad?
clutch feels heavy in the morning, (seems like, thats how it supposed to be)-clutch feel- ones I start the car goes to normal, softer, I dont see any Leak - or loosing any oil- clutch master cylinder was replaced at 20k now im at 41k -oem clutch was much better, easier to go from dead stop. after-market clutch seems like you gotta find that Sweet spot - i dont slip the clutch, I have aftermarket flywheel and i know that also change the clutch feel - maybe i need to replace the spring or remove spring helper. -
traffic, uphill, sucks. -
I know why pcar is a little different and why its grabbing up top so you can shift faster without pressing the clutch all the way in...
HAHA, That reminds me of my friend when he installed ACT HDG6 Heavy Duty with Sprung 6 Puck on his fast DSM back in the day, every damn red light his car died lol. and took him a while to get used to it.

Just went through this with my accumulator slowly dying over a 2 mth period. Your accumulator needs to be replaced. The slave cylinder is not far behind if reports on these forums is anything to go by. Mine followed suit just as they said it would, as I found a puddle of pentosin under my car shortly after the clutch would always be heavy by the following morning.
I struggled with choosing between replacing the slave/accumulator or swapping to an unboosted GT3 setup.
Choose to stay with the stock configuration and replaced with stock parts. I also upgraded to a '764' PP and GT2/Turbo S disc.
Incredibly happy with the setup and it's as infinitely drivable as stock, with no chatter, easily slippable, and power holding for 700hp. The brand new slave/accumulator removed all the vagueness of the clutch pedal that I was experiencing as the original parts failed.
