I bought some Cobra Misano seats to replace my supple leather seats. Is seat replacement a simple job or do I need to go to a shop? I am semi handy with tools but have minimal experience with car mods. The seats came with Porsche specific rails. I will lose the power and memory function but should gain a better fit.

Easy. Rockitman has a nice DIY for the GT3 seats that should help you. Just be careful when taking the stock seats out of the car as the rails can scratch your door sills or the center console.

Also you will need one of these to remove the bolts....

seat install is pretty easy. if you can turn a wrench it should be no prob.

The Misano's are beautiful seats and I have not yet seen them in a TT. Not as supportive as a race bucket type seat but will definitely be much more supportive than OEM. Post pics when you get them in.
