Very Unhappy with my Clutchmasters fiber tough stage 3 clutch kit.
Hi,, Sorry. I was very unhappy with my CM 3 also.
So much so I had it taken out and went with the CM 2 which made the modulation a little better, but started to slip after awhile in certain situations at my power level.
I even took the clutch pedal booster spring out which helped a little to take the edge oft to live with it on the street.
Then I went with my current Sachs Performance set-up which is as close as stock feel with holding my power as you can get..
Good Luck.

Some of the needle bearings that support the fork shaft may have fell out during install. Missing needles can be felt in the pedal as a slight vibration.
I know misery loves company sometimes, I hated that clutch also. To make it worse I had a LWFW with it. Best thing I ever did was replace it. You can recoup some money if you sell it, I think I got like 1000 for my setup used. Picks up super high also. Whoever said it resembles stock and I was told the same thing on here, is on crack, haha. Best of luck, hope it gets better......
It's not a vibration through the pedal. The whole car chatters. Basically there is zero slip when the clutch disk starts to touch the FW so you don't get a smooth take off. You get a choppy chatter type vibration through the whole car.
I've had the CM3 in the GT2 for 3-4 yrs. It drives like the stock clutch & holds 700+ whp perfect. I kept the DM flywheel & have ZERO noise or rattles.
Not sure why some people have trouble & some don't.

I've got an older cm3 setup with I'm sure the dmfw.
Engagement point is high and when I first got the car, I hated it. I've gotten used to it now but would like to put a pedal stop on it to help me with the high engagement.

Is that hub sprung? I have never used that disc and do remember there was something about a long break in.
Yup its a sprung disk. Ive gotten used to the high engagement point and it holds the power for sure (although I only have about 500 HP). The main issue is the chatter on take off when it gets warm. Ive read a lot on the subject butt he odd thing is how some people have it with the CM3 setup and others dont. Im going to try the 2nd gear 4000 RPM method and hope for some reason it fixes the issue even though someone said it will only fix the on/off type engagement.
Ya, I don't have chatter. I guess except if I am backing up on a slight incline, it can get a little "chuggy" Almost like the disc is doing a grab and let go quickly.
My TO bearing is on its last leg so I anticipate a clutch in the near future.

It didn't work for my application, it wasn't a bad part. That application was street driving. It was perfect for track guys who heel toe and like a high engagement point and were looking for my exact setup.
Can you just leave me alone? Do you have so much time on your hands you enjoy badgering me for no reason? Reporting my for sale threads for no reason and fyi the administrators are all aware of your actions and take you with a grain of salt.
Please just leave me alone. I don't respond to anything you post anymore, can you please act like an adult and do the same? Thanks.
