TT with parking assist mode

I am looking at an 01 Turbo with "Parking Assist". My problem is wth those five holes surrounding the bumper. Does anyone have any ideas on making it more pleasing to the eyes (It`s Ugly).
Do they make plugs for these holes? Thanks Guys, Mike

I don't understand the point of parking assist for a car like TT, you definitely need it for a Cayenne but for TT, who will be dumb enough to back on another car and hit it driving the TT

it might be dumb for the north american market but i think it's very useful for a place like hong kong where it's freaking tight... parallel parking is literally bumper to bumper...

Yes we know. However it IS a option on the TT and I`m looking at my options of hiding these holes. Maybe a body shop if no plugs available

mikerosi: all bodyshops can do it for you. They take off the bumper put like a plastic from the inside to cover the holes and repaint the whole thing. I had it done on my car

Jeeez, those are very useful. Its bad enough they don't offer it for the fronts. Think about parking within 6" of that bumper, trashcan, wall, fence or the kid's bike behind you. Besides it doesn't look half as bad as the ones on my SUVs.

If you do plug them, Parktronic will no longer operate properly. Keep that in mind.

Perhaps Eric at BumperPlugs has something for this??

What makes the 996tt so great is with a few options or changes it can become almost any enthusists dream car. I never have understood why one enthusists has to knock another enthusists because he believes his "likes" are what the car really is.
