Differences between 2002 and 2003

I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but are there any worthwhile changes between 2002 and 2003 TT's? I might be picking up a 2002 TT, but I'll have to get rid of my 2003 C2 in order to make room. I don't want to find out that I'm losing some valuable technological change after I make this switch.

I know of the MOST Bus addition in 2003, but my personal feeling on that is that it makes the car much more difficult to change the sound system.

Anything else?

I posted the differences between TT models from '01, to '04. Here is a copy.

01: Bumperettes=Ugly
Shiny Black Dials=Too Flashy
Old audio system=horrible
PCMI=Bad navigation system
No hollow spoke wheels=Heavy
02: No Bumperettes=Thank God
Flat Black Dials=They look better
Bose Sound System=A lot better (10 speakers, and 2 subs)
PCMI=Still sucks
Cup Holder=Nice, but nobody has drinks in my car
Glove Compartment=Nice add on
Rain Sensor=Nice add on
X50=Only 60 '02s have them (that is what I have heard)
03: PCMII=Fianaly, a good nav system
MOST=Yes, a PIA to upgrade, but the fiber optic system sounds better
replaced in-dash single CD player=A little better
04:Turbo Script in tach=very cool
PCMII Standard=nice, but MSRP goes up because of this, and there is no delete option

You will not be missing much between an '02 and '03 Turbo.

There are no important differences between the 02 and 03, the major change in the Turbos was from 01 to 02 in 02 the X50 option was added as an option.

Adam, Most of that information is not true, early 01 Turbos had front bumperettes and they were not on the middle and later production cars, there werent any shiny dials in 01, hollow spoke wheels were on middle and later production 01, only the solids came on the early cars, the audio system isnt a bad system by any means, in 02 there were more than 60 cars produced with the X50 option, it was first stated by Porsche to be a limited option then Porsche built as many as ordered, way to go guys, and thats about it, good luck with your search.

And now for the '02, notice the flat black buttons-dials.

I have an 01 Turbo and the dials are not shiny although the buttons in the 01 are shiny and the 02 buttons are matte finish.

Sorry, I think there is some confusion in what I am talking about (I meant buttons, my misteak). Anyways, going for an '02 Turbo and saving close to 10 grand is your best bet.

Thanks guys. One question that I have after seeing those pictures. Does the radio unit in the 2002 have indash CD? It doesn't appear to have that.

That radio in the pics has a CD, the faceplate flips down and the CD goes in from there.

Yes, so does the '01. Just press this button, and the face of the unit pops open, and you can put one CD in there.

Stephen mentioned to me that he had read that the diverter valves were upgraded in mid 03. They are still plastic though. Does anyone else have any details on this?
