Differences between 2002 and 2003
I have an '01 Turbo, and it has from the factory:
1) no bumperettes
2) hollow spoke wheels
3) rain sensing wipers
4) pretty impressive audio system: it came with "Porsche High Performance System". 160Wx2 amp with pair of high, mid, and dual (for total of 4) bass speakers. 6-disc changer with indash cassette. The only thing is over time, the grille has developed slight rattles... need to tighten up the grille.
5) PCM: While the 1st gen pcm is not the best, I think it's safe to say though most if not all European auto companies' GPS systems suck, especially compared to Japanese systems. I actually preferred the '01 Turbo's PCM slightly over my '03 SL500's GPS... it's a little more intuitive. I will say that whoever picked the colors of the CPM interface must have been color blind. The odd assortment of fuchsia/green/etc clash pretty badly.

Yes, much of what I had put down was not first hand experience, but a collection of peoples previous posts put together. I understand that PCMI is a decent unit, however, after using the Lexus GPS unit, I feel that PCMI is more than inadequate.
I do wonder if the Driveter Valves would be fixed on my '03 (birthdate- May 10, 2003)
