This is why people always ask me 5 times if it's a real GT2.

I finally just got the license plate "GT2" and people stopped asking so much

 

I've been getting these questions as well. Even overheard a gentleman telling his buddies at cars and coffee one morning that it's a turbo with gt2 add ons. I didn't stay anything

 

That's as lame as the guys who stick a "S" after the turbo emblem.

 

Ha! I admit I did exactly that right after I first got my x50 car and I thought it looked great!! Beyond better than the 911s on my buddy's 67.

But once I realized the error of my ways and the concept of fake badge tuning lol I had to tale it off of course or endure the derision of anywhere guys stop to talk gawk and laugh at other peoples cars.

But dayum that sliver S looked good next to that turbo script! For a few weeks Lol

Aren't we all 996 brothers, who cares.
I think the above photo doesn't look bad, its got a good stance.

 

It's got intercooler intakes. - with the effort it would take to do that, I'm thinking its a wide body turbo. Just a weird photo angle.

When is the last time anyone actually saw a real GT2???… And, if you owned one... Would you actually take a chance on the street driving it???

That's why there are clone cars out there. Everybody gets a to see what a GT2 looks like and the owner gets to enjoy the car.

Most guys that do the GT2 stuff actually go beyond body kits and do tons of mods… making their cars actually better than the real thing and even more fun and safer to drive.

I used to race in SCCA and there was never a car that was scary to me, but my car at half throttle, at 25 mph, will put you into an all wheel drive spin and in the next lane, before the traction control can kick in. Now… that's scary!...

Looks like a aero-kit C2/C4 with side intakes and GT2 wing and widened front fenders....with all due respect, yikes!

 

Rick, 3-season daily-driver(and modded) GT2 here, but do have a beater 5'er for leaving in sketchy areas/airport and mostly for winter-use
Many of the GT2 guys on here use their cars well...these cars happily do it all!
