Radio code, boost level, engine temperature question.
After 60K, midlife engine out festivities, car runs fantastic, few things are different though.
1. Radio (see picture) is acting like it does not know me. What do I do, perhaps time for aftermarket solution?
2. coolant temperature is now at 84-87c and does not go above, before it used to go to 95 in traffic, or on hot day. I vacumized system and it took at least 25l of coolant, heater works perfect and does not make gurgling sounds. Is it too cold?
3. Boost used to go up to .9, sometimes 1 bar. Last night I stepped on it, just to show my wife what is better then sex and reading got up to 1.3 bar, which was not even a full throttle. So what is it supposed to produce and at what point my engine is supposed to blow up?
Also, I do have X50 turbos installed, according to part numbers on them, probably one of the previous owners.
4. clutch is new, OEM Sachs, 0 modifications. My pedal now feels like it is honda civic, seriously easy and pleasant, old clutch (identical oem) was at least twice harder, is this normal for new clutch to be easier to actuate?
Also, now I have some free play in pedal, about 1 inch from the top, before I feel some resistance. I bled system seemingly well, disengagement is good, gears go in and shift perfectly, so what's that play on top?
