That's the Forge's recomendation!
As the inverse way of mounting, but the installation is a little more difficult, that's right.

I just installed them like this, but think I did it the wrong way..
I see Clyde Barrow got it the other way..

So this has started to bother me since it was brought up before. I read the installation of this valve on Forge's website for an Audi. It states that it can be placed either way but you get quieter operation from installing it in the same format as the originals as shown in my pictures and the way you stated you installed it. I've driven for several miles on the way I showed them installed and have no issues.

I found nothing about installation on forge site..
I installed them like you did after reading this tread (only the start of it at first) but no I think Clyde Barrow is the one that having it the right way..

On this photo of the set they are placed the same way as Clyde Barrow..
Thinking Forge won´t make a photo the wrong way even if it´s not an installation photo..

Also talked to a friend just now that was running it the way you are for months, when going to a service he was told to turn them..

I´m about to turn them on that info but changing these aren´t the most funny thing I do so need to be shure..
