2014 Track Season Recap
It's in the link I provided. Basically the 710n is an OEM, diaphragm style, diverter valve that is used by Audi in the S4. It's a more robust OEM type valve compared to the stock Porsche 996 part.
The test show that less volume and time is needed for these diaphragm type valves to respond. This may help two fold - 1) Less stalling of the compressor wheel when releasing the throttle 2) Possibly faster recovery of boost when getting back on the throttle.

Such a great read and tremendous effort to keep on going for 2014!! It would be awesome for the 2015 season if you could post the schedule, for those of us who want to show up and provide support, even if its just to see you tearing it up out there.
Do you have a youtube channel or vids? If you do, let us know so we can subscribe.

I'm putting my schedule together now. I'll be sure to post more updates as the season progresses next year. I have to document it as I have some sponsors coming on board. So there will be a lot more info.
I had a bunch of Youtube vids but am switching to vimeo. I'll post some good videos of battles and fast laps I've had over the years here shortly.
As such it's also not as good on the street. But I like an aggressive racy ride so it didn't bother me for the miles I drove it on the street.
However, the times do not lie and if you want to go fast, and not spend 10k on coilovers, hats, etc. JIC is the way to go IMO. You can get them valved/rebuilt how you want for $180 a shock.
I'll post this one as my first video. It's from the NARRA event in 2013. First time going all out on some slightly used Pirelli slicks. This is pre-repave, track is about 2-3 seconds faster now. Hadn't been to VIR since 5 years prior to so was still learning the track. Tires started to fall off and I was cutting through a tire so had to back off on Sunday. Left a good bit on the table. I'd say 53's were very possible. ALMS GTC with pro's in 7 cups qualified in the 52's that year.
Finished with the fastest TT time of the weekend.
Saturday writeup from NARRA (full article here)
Tricky conditions open the day at VIR with light rain falling for the first TT session. Dez White (2:03.757) looked to have the session locked up until a late lap by Troy Messer put him on top of TT-1 with a2:02.263.

Also impressive early in the session was Philip Grabow (2:18.141) in Element Tuning's Scion FRS until SpeedSouth's thumping yellow Z06 Vette in the hands of David Leonard (2:16.516) took away the top TT-U spot.

During session two, and on the drying track, Wirth's Evo (2:12.283) continued to keep Raver's (2:13.768) STi at bay. However, again all eyes were on the TT-1 class. For most of the session it looked as though Prociuk would have Messer covered after putting in a 1:57.677 in his second flying lap. That same lap Messer could only manage a 1:58.774. However, on his third flyer Messer closed to be within a mere tenth with a 1:57.838, and after resetting his tire pressures he recorded a 1:57.201 to stay on top. Eric Campbell showed he was also in the hunt, third fastest with a1:58.590, while White was down in an assuming 5th place at 2:01.514.
With the track completely dry for the third run, it was Messer again with a 1:56.914 on his first lap. Prociuk (1:57.646) crossed the line six tenths behind, before White (1:57.545) came from nowhere to bump Prociuk to third. Prociuk immediately responded to them both with a1:56.474.
However, White wasn't finished and on his second lap went faster still with a 1:56.062. Messer then closed with a 1:56.599, but Prociuk crossed the line with a 1:56.356 before White blitzed them both again to take the TT-1 win with a 1:55.107.
