Issue with DasSport Bolt in cage

Question to members here who have / previously owned a DasSport Bolt in cage...

dassport.com/store/products.php?product=996-%252d-997-Porsche-Coupes-DAS-Sport-Bolt%252dIn-Roll-Bar-%2798-to-2011

Recently I purchased the above cage off of a local SD PCA member... I had installed the cage a few weeks ago and on initial installation the main hoop wasn't fitting right, it was seemed to be lopsided / crooked and resting on the driver side upper seat belt height adjuster. Weird right?

This past weekend I removed the cage to have it painted and upon examining the lower seat-belt / main hoop mounting brackets I noticed that for some reason they are not symmetrical. I have attached photos of this issue.

Can anyone confirm that this is the way the brackets are meant to be?

check on Rennlist in the 996GT2/3 forum. Pretty much all track guys and a greater likely hood of someone having this roll bar..
