Function-First Tranny Mount Inserts review
Hello Everyone,
I typically don't post on here simply because I don't feel I know enough about our cars. I rather read reviews and learn what others have done to make their cars that much better and then choose my mods from there. Here recently I had to share an experience with a product that I feel is a necessity to make our cars that much more enjoyable. I read that a fellow 6speeder had bought these inserts and he absolutely loved the way it really transformed his car.. So, I bought them and recently installed them. It was a pretty easy install. I jacked the car up and then used another jack to lift the weight of the transmission off of the factory bushings. I then greased up the inserts and wiggled them into place. (While I was under there I went ahead and changed both my front and rear diff fluid.) Fit was exact and held in nicely due to the studs holding the tranny mount to the car. Once I buttoned up all of the belly panels and put her back on the ground, I took her for a spirited drive. WOW!!! What a difference! My car feels so much more connected. I noticed a difference on my past cars I did this mod to, but forgot just how much play the factory rubber bushings had. I have fallen in love with my turbo all over again.
Thanks, Luka!! Great product and best bang for the buck mod!!

^..and..
do you have semi or solid motor mounts or anything else not oem to gauge what the nvh +/- is? i only ask also because i already have wevo's and a new 997 t-mount as is. i've always felt the inserts wouldn't add much noticeable benefit.
be great to "know" otherwise. they are inexpensive enough to take a chance on for sure.
