Any chance you've got a picture of the rings? I've had a bad experience or two in the past on other cars and am curious to see what these look like if possible. That it came with lugs is pretty nice!

if i may? the hubcentric rings won't be a problem, but the lugs are shyte. they are shiny, and although supplied, come from an unknown manufacturer, certainly NOT tuv certified.. and i snapped three in my 500rwhp car. they aren't near as sturdy as the forgestar wheels

went to tuner lugs and haven't had the issue recur. i'd get rid of em.

But wasn't the whole story that you had some mismatching bolts at one point? Some conical and some ball seat?

That was later on in an effort to replace the f'star supplied lugs! The majority of my driving is on very tight, often off-camber, S turns.

The only barely plausible explanation I have been able to surmise is that cheap lugs (non tuv) are not a good idea. I have not been able to snap any since replacing all with 17mm tuner lugs..and I have tried

Something else must've been off? Unless you're using spacers, snapping a lug seems hard to believe.

Yeah, I don't see how you would have an issue with the small hubcentric rings. I don't think they do a whole lot and are very snug in there.

no, nothing was "off". there are different and varying degrees of quality and material for lugs as you know. forgestars are cheap and low quality, and seemingly in contrast to their wheels. i have no problems with the rings, other than i wish the wheels were made to fit without them. but that said, once installed, never have had to give them a second thought.
