Forgestar - Sunken Treasure
Forgestar - Sunken Treasure
I don't think I've seen any Forgestar wheels in this color yet, so there you go if you want something different
. This is a color used on VMR wheels. Hard to take pictures of since it changes under the light but it is metallic bronze.

We definitely need another drive soon! I just have to finish dialing in the suspension and I'm good to go!
Aw man, wheels were about the furthest thing from my mind for my car and so many of the wheels I see cost cubic dollars I'd rather use elsewhere.... However these are really reasonably priced! That's a custom color I assume? (wheel ignorant here) How significant an upcharge? I cannot quite tell if those are 18s or 19s but they look truly awesome. I've got other things on my plate currently but that's a real eye opener and puts wheels on my list. Love that it's a silver car like mine, the bronze really looks terrific
Congrats on a really nice setup!
Edit: Any spacers or anything? Backspace? Doesn't look like much dish and it's pretty flush, everything clears? Really impressed

I saw some rims similar color to those and I regret not buying them in that color for my daily driver (Infiniti G35). I bought a matte black and I think those look great and would be incredible on a white car. I think they look great on silver as well but would be a great contrast on white.
Thanks for all the comments! A few answers to the questions:
The color is an option on VMR wheels; since it was the same powdercoater, no upcharge. The wheels are 18x8.5 and 18x11; Forgestar makes the wheels with the right offsets for the 996TT, so no spacers are needed and everything is pretty much flush. I bought through Modbargains and they were very helpful. The car is lowered without rubbing anywhere.
It took me a long time before deciding on wheels but the value is very hard to beat. And they are relatively light on top of it!

The wheels come with both lugs and the hubcentric rings. The lugs are 17mm cone seat style.
