In place of the turbo badge
In place of the turbo badge
So my car does not say turbo. Originally I thought it was clean looking.
Then (when my car was still FVD set-up) I had a custom emblem cut that said FVD 575 in the same size as the turbo script...it looked kind of cool, not flashy at all.
It's plain again and was thinking of doing something else subtle. Not sure what.
Any ideas? I've seen a couple Rook decals and EVOMS stuff.

Over 10 years ago when I had my C2 it came with rear badge "Carrera" delete. I liked it but wanted something different. I ended up with a sliver "911" script logo I think originally made for a 993 and thought it looked terrific on my silver 996 cab. I thought if I ever got a Turbo, I'd immediately replace the flashy chrome Turbo script emblem with 911. So black 911 it is on my black car.
I generally don't tell people my car is a turbo unless they specifically ask. Yet most will immediately notice the "Turbo" lettering on the door sills and then ask when entering my car for the first time.

Speaking of, I've even seen "sticker-tuned" 911's: non-turbo cars with sill plates that say turbo. Freakin' people...
Regarding the rear badge, I'd go with either "turbo" or "911."

I've found those outside the German high performance car or Porsche circles know very little about them.
