The very early GIAC tunes were soldered in. There is a very good chance that we can flash over it. On the outside chance that we have issues, we can take care of it in house.

Just as a reference point, my car was previously a EVOMS/GIAC setup, done in 2007. No problems doing the flash.

993GT,

Sorry for the old thread, but I have a Stage 1 GIAC flash (2006), what differences did you see in moving over to EPL? Thanks! KH

EPL: smooth power delivery, throttle/boost control, engine safety and consistency-runs flawless 0C to 40C rain or shine on 91oct...
Tony is a great guy and kept dialing it in to my ( admittedly picky) preferences...thanks again Tony!

Thanks Rob--

I appreciate it, just trying to figure out what I'm missing with my current tune. I think I'm happy, as I haven't noticed a notchy power delivery with my current setup. But maybe I'm not as picky??? Thanks again, KH

GIAC tune worked well enough, but found it overly aggressive and jumpy, additionally they couldn't tell me ANY specifics of the tune(what Octane/hardware/etc.)...went EPL (+injectors and wastegates) and haven't looked back.
Slightly slower in the 1/4, but dead consistent and 'safe' for roadcourse use...

Much appreciated, slightly slower doesn't matter to me . . . I'm not racing anyone. I'm just entertaining myself, which is all that matters

Thanks again, KH

Tony,
You flashed my car about 6 years ago. Been pleased with it. I am guessing it was your basic flash. Is there a second level flash. If so, what would be the difference over the flash that I have.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,

The next step up would either be our 5 Bar flash or an injector flash with a set of wastegates.
