The Gumball 3000 movie had this chase footage with footage from Lonman's car spliced in. His speedometer was at times showing an indicated 206+mph. Porsche speedos are optimistic, but still...

 

I'm amazed at that video...were the police just turning a blind eye to everything or did the Porsche get busted....you would think a that speed it would be straight to the pokey....

 

that supra isn't "tuned"... it's bpu, probably 420rwhp at the very most... i remember from when the video first surfaced a year or two ago.

ask gowide - there's a *world* of difference between a bpu & a small single turbo ;-)

i have to say - they're both crazy :-)

well, there were 100 other cars doing the same thing Hard to pick which one to get.

That said, if I remember correctly, Lonman got in trouble in a few states, and said he most likely won't come back to the U.S.

 

GT2s are animals.... I raced a modded GT2 during a random encounter on a highway (I have a 12.7 second 304whp evolution) from 35mph until I backed off at 120.. he destroyed me like I've never seen which made me happy because I would never want to be close to one of my dream cars.
