Compression readings

Does anyone know what the compression readings should be for a 996TT? (PSI) I've searched and checked the maintenance manual to no avail. Want to know if a car I am considering is good.

Thanks

Nice,,all of them right on with no noticeable variances..
I was expecting as in most engines between 5psi an 10 psi which is still normal for a street motor.

I wouldnt be overly concerned about the actual reading (with in reason) as long at they are balanced. If there's any real concern, leak down test the engine.

Just a WAG but with the engine's (stock) 9.4:1 compression ratio I'd hazard a guess best would be around 138psi. Actual would be lower not necessarily due to any problems but from less than 100% cylinder filling and with some valve overlap.

Why are you pressure testing the cylinders?
