TT out of warranty

Is it possible to estimate what the avg. maintenance cost is for a TT out of warranty? The reason I ask is I'm considering an '01 or '02, but am aware that no one will warranty the TT, so I am trying to estimate cost.

Porsche warranty is 4yr/50K miles (whichever comes first) so on an 02 youd have 2 and a bit years left...

Routine scheduled maintenance costs should be the same, as the printed schedule is the same for all Porsches depending on use . I believe the Turbo's spark plugs have to be changed a bit sooner, minor stuff like that. And as you know, none of this is covered , compared to newer Audi,MBZ , BMWs, etc.
With a price of $45K for a new engine, I personally wouldn't own one out of warranty. I heard that PCNA has reinstated a pre-owned ext warranty program that adds a couple thousand to the price , but that would be same price aftermarket if you could even get one. With Warranty Gold's bankruptcy, you'd be nuts to depend on any aftermarket warranty to be there when you need it. Even if some do pay , they may be so slow in paying that some shops won't accept certain ones . Kinda like HMO plans vs doctors .
