How difficult to remove Exhaust??

Just wondering how difficult it would be to swap the exhaust on my 996TT. Does it require removing the rear bumper?

Thanks in advance.

I've done it with and without removing the bumper. It's easier with the bumper removed. Bumper removal only take 10-15 minutes while being very careful.

I was surpised how easy it actually is to remove the stock exhaust. It took me a little while the first time and it would help to have someone help since its a bit heavy, but it can be done solo. The bumper cover comes off in less than 10 minutes, you need a couple torx drivers and a regular phillips. The Exhaust with the cats have 4 bolts each to the turbos and there is a side bolt for the heat shield, took me about 30 minutes to figure out there were there. and the straps holding the exhaust to the rear, I think it can be done in under an hr once you know everything.
You also have to take off the intake filter to release the O2s from the top, I thought you could remove from the bottom but best to take them out with the entire exhaust when removed.
