Thanks this an update picture. It's been 2 weeks and look at the difference between the two.
I think the manufacturer warranties for two years and this has surpassed that but Rhonda was in contact the first day to see what can be done but haven't heard anything so maybe nothing can be done from FVD's side.

Just out of curiousity - and I am by no means bashing, just really curious.

Why did you post here before contacting FVD? Usually you'd have a prob with an item and go back to the manufacturer or distributor. If they deny responsibility, you can then head to an open forum to see if you are alone or if you so choose, to publicly vent your anger and warn others. But why here first?

The reason I am asking is that we produce electronics for another vehicle marque and are often faced with the same issue. It means that we end up scouring the forums to make sure we catch threads before they get out of hand. Like Rhonda did here. But ultimately this means more work for us and adds to the product cost...

Steve,
By no means I'm taking it as you are bashing but your curiosity is leading you to assume that I did not reach out to the distributor or manufacturer before the thread was created in which you would be wrong. In my first post last sentence explains why I wrote this thread and it was to see if anyone knew someone that repairs carbon fiber in the states. I never brought up that FVD nor Atwie will not repair the wheel. I do have to reference the wheel as something and hence the company name FVD.
Anyways I appreciate your concerns though.

In that case, disregard my comments. Yes, based on what you had written, I did assume - and what the say about assuming def holds true

But based on my limited experience with CF, I can also tell you that repairs are extremely expensive. There are multiple steps involved and on something like a steering wheel you have to do almost everything by hand. Very labor intensive.

Atiwe is a good co. and they are usually quite helpful. I dealt with them last summer for parts for my wheel. I still have all the contacts, so if you do need any help, shoot me a pm.

Good luck!
