Well i did the wiring harness refresh and since i cracked the headlights open, i did painted the chrome housing.. what you guys think?? 996 GT2 Black housing Headlights!!
very nice look. So is the front bumper. And the garage floor!
Anyone has experience this, basically the entire wiring is cracked and falling off with a simple touch!! I'll be refreshing both wiring looms. Stay tuned
I just discovered I have cracked wiring just like your. Can you please let me know how did you open the headlight lens……?
I know this thread is old, but I'm replacing some of the wiring in my litronic headlights and want to repin some connectors.
Does anyone know how to remove this connector from the housing? Does it pull out or push into the housing for removal?

did you figure this out? I am stuck at the same spot and even tried the tool referenced on Amazon. No luck with those keys. Trying to complete the desire without separating the lens from the body.
thanks in advance.
No I didn't.
Ended up just heatshrinking as deep as I could without opening the terminal.

for the next poor sap who wants to try this require…
drill two 1/8” or 1/16” holes above where the tabs would be and push the tabs with a thin but stiff wire. The plug will loosen up and pull toward the terminal end, not the wire side.
