btw, how you guys managed to lift the plastic in rear to strap, the center of the seat. we need to tear some carpet? when i'm trying to lift it, wants to crack. thanks.

I'm running this one, - kiddo is 4 1/2 years old. weighs 41lbs and 44" tall , no problem. holds his head in place, was in the middle of cleaning comes with few pads (not in pic.)

You need to cut through the carpet; the existing cut is only halfway. I moved the subwoofer forward to have more room, and used a small pocket knife. See the first few steps in this write-up:

I tried the parkway SG by britax just now. Base doesn't come close to fitting
