Looking for Booster Seat that actually fit our 996's
Looking for booster seat for 3.5 year old that actually fits, if you have one, please post part number of the seat or model, I can't find anything,..
I dont drive my car a lot but from time to time I take the car for longer trips and kiddo falls asleep pretty much every time i get off the Boost (lol).
I have really cheap booster seat, I would like something that holds him tight
I was checking recaro sets but im not sure which model fits.

I bought mine from Walmart. I think it was the Cosco brand. Like 17 dollars and it just slides right in place. Mine is yellow, but this one.

Do you want backless or highback ? With the 3.5 yr old ~40+ lbs I'd assume you are looking for highback.
I've had the Britax Parkway SGL (minus the side cup holders) and fit just right.
VLNTE1 ; have you seen the size of kids these days on formula ? I had a 18 months old through our clinic that was 31lbs.

Look for the Harmony seat, I think Walmart sells them, fits perfect in the back and the head has side pieces to keep the head from swaying. Back also comes off so you can just use it as a booster as they get older.
Your kiddos are younger than mine, but when they only need a booster, this is what I bought for my two rear seats, Bubble Bum:

My kids find them comfortable and it fits in the weird rear seats perfectly. Hope this helps! KH

I have a Recaro Probooster that I've have in my car for 1.5 yrs, since my daughter was 3.5 yrs old. She's in it practically every work day as I drop her off (and my 1.5 yr old son in a convertible car seat) at school. Love that the 911 is a real hairy chested sports car with DD utility.

Looks like the Probooster has been replaced with an updated model that has a wider base. Not sure that one will work. With the one I have, I took the Porsche seat back out and did a slight mod to the seat belt receiver so it's angled more forward. Neither is a must do but it works better.

Go with the Radian. Steel frame, indestructible. We have all five of ours in them. Fit in the 996 fine. 5 point, which is still appropriate for your 3.5 year old.
I have a Recaro Vivo, which fits perfectly in the back seat. Just did a quick search and it looks like that model is discontinued. If you can find a used model or on a site like overstock, its the way to go.
PS - I am bummed now too as I was getting ready to by a second one for my youngest!

Does your 04 have the latch system? Or are you using the 5 point child harness with the seat belt holding the car seat in place?
I found a narrow seat that fit, but my 01 does not have the latch system, and I couldn't get the seat tight enough with the seat belt, the seat belt pulled the seat sideways a bit.
Anybody else have this problem?
