The Barbaric 996TT Build
Appreciate it.
Yea might as well change the colour... Pretty much nothing will be left stock on the car once its said and done...
Btw Lambo Verde would look insane on a 996tt with ***** and you is going to have plenty
Actually your fender liner is stock 😜
no need to go italian! https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...small-lip.html
i have seen the car in person. the guy completely disassembled the car down to the tub and repainted everything as if it was fresh from the factory then rebuilt the car with every rubber seal new and its perfect. car will turn heads 2 states away!

Pretty impressive ..
I'm stripping my car down to the bone as well.. But not changing the seals .
It's a great color.
you almost have to change all the seals. your going to wreck most of them getting the glass and such out. after 10+ yrs its worth doing g it for all the effort you have into repainting. might want to think about a sunroof delete while your at it
Yea you have a point..
As far as the sunroof, I was thinking of getting the CF roof... but I seriously like my sunroof in the summer so I'm going to keep it .

every 100 lb reduction = 10 more mph
c/f requires a full cage. deleting the sunroof takes about 30 lbs off the top of the car. my buddy layinback had a 808 rwhp car that weighed 3030 lbs with him in it. the car felt like a 1000 hp car! weight reduction every bit as important as hp nowadays. with 4 digit gtr, lambo, mustang and vettes light is always better
every 100 lb reduction = 10 more mph
every 100 lb reduction = 10 more mphI've already started my weight reduction program lol.
I'm converting the car to RWD, Im installing the BBI exhaust pretty light, BBI headers, gt2 seats they're a big weight reduction comparing the stock seats, spare tire, door speakers, sub, rear seats, I'm running the hre c90 rims pretty light for a 3 pcs..
And still looking to lose some weight on the car .
I am also aiming to hit 3000lbs ..
