Adam, I did not imply that the RTurbo was faster, only that the difference between the 590 RTurbo and the 650 Rt12 was only 0.15 second on the 100-200 km/h pull. That´s the thing that strikes me as odd.
I know i agree, the differences between the two is massive in terms of performance. The new Ruf 3,8 motor is very strong. The blue car(the R turbo) is amazing, i have some very fond memories of it.

all the best

Updates

Here's some photos of a newer RT12, which I think is the Ruf Demo car.

They've changed a couple of things on the car:

1. The rear bumper exit slats have been re-worked which tidies them up.

2. The exhausts now exit through the rear bumper, rather than underneath it.

3. The wheels fitted to this car are Ruf OZ Superleggerra 3 Forged (OZ make all the Ruf wheels).

These are taken from a roadtest of the car on the UK website Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=105&i=12366

Buddy compared to some of the dollars spent on mods by TT owners that is not so bad...
