M....Dr Jim has driven my R Turbo Conversion and I've driven his gorgeous Guard's red beast. We both think that our cars are fairly comparable. Both equally aweinspiring!

p.s...nice forum gentlemen!

Darren...I did the 550/580 R Turbo conversion w/ adjustable suspension, front GT2 styled bumper and rear wing. Brembo 8-pot brakes w/ 19" HRE 540Rs (black shot pened/annodised centres). Jim and I were both previous owners of M5s and made the leap to the TT.

After Ruf:

Darren....happy to meet ya. In fact I plan to be on teh Island this Saturday visiting my dealer...South Shore Porsche in Freeport. perhaps we can hook up if you're available.

The tiles are from mortormat.com and garage walls by Garagetek.com.....happy with the outcome.

I was wondering about the Ruf full exhausts system... how does it sound? agressive like the TechArt racing exhausts? is it throatier or deeper than the stock system? TIA

Definitely sounds throatier than OEM exhausts. Can't compare to Techart as I've not had opportunity to hear one. My previous car was an E39 M5 equipped with a Tubi....comparison is that the Tubi sounded fiercer and deeper than current Ruf setup....although this maybe a case of "apples and oranges". In suumary I'm pleased with the Ruf all around.

Very nice!... and yes I have heard Tubi exhausts but it was on my old 360 modena. But, I haven't heard Tubi for the 996TT. I wish I could hear a Ruf exhausts... Im thinkin about changing... down grading... Racing exhausts is too loud... too much attentions!
