Time to get a "tune up"
the most consistently low online vendor prices tend to be: suncoast/ecs/pelican parts in no particular order ) and others that escape me now, but a simple search online will give you a lot of choices. try suncoast porsche and pelican parts first to see the spread.
agree, they're a great and necessary mod.
Oem? Pelican parts does a great job of showing the same part from multiple sources as well as listing the manufacturer of the part. Most OEM parts are Bosch...Pelican lists the OEM part from Porsche...but will list the Bosch part as the oem supplier and the price can be hundreds less. Oem....oem supplier. Case in point. The Bosch mass air sensor is something like 400 whereas the oem porsche sensor (exact same part) is like 700. The Bosch part even has the Porsche 996 part number on it. Just cuz porsche boxes it, they inflate the price.

agree, theyre terrific and seeing the options listed and difference btw refurb vs oem or porsche branded is very helpful as well as instructive. pelican is pretty much my #1 go to spot, plus i get stuff the very next day as theyre local.
Gurd damn. Got the car back today after ten days driving the USS Odyssey, the car definitetly live up to the crest. Apparently there were some boost leak found. The car sounds, drives, and rides a whole lot better. Time to get a tune!! : )
So far at 68k miles
Oil and filter change
Transmission and front diff oil change
Pinned the coolant pipes
New coolant reservoir
Front brake pads
Front wheel bearings (both side)
Cleaned out the radiators
Upgraded to Al 3.5" intercoolers
serpentine belt
997 coils
OEM plugs
997 engine mounts
Cam seals
K-sport coilovers
Cleaned out the air box and MAF
I hope I'm good for awhile. I got the transmission inserts from Function First, but I need the 997 transmission mount to make the work. I should have got the turbos upgrade instead of the maintainance stuff
