Good luck with the new H&Rs! I hope they are everything you are expecting.

Everyone has their own experience.........possibly some has to do with the tuning the system (and the tuner). The early 2001-2003 system, which I believe was developed with Gemballa, had some issues especially with the available range of height adjust up front.
The system went through a couple generations and the current rendition is part of my suspension set-up. I've been very pleased.
Like anything else, you take risks on the 'bleeding' edge of a new product.........wait & see might be advised.

Personally, I have the H&R and have had absolutely no issues. They perform great for my general driving canyon/track. Very compliant for street and track no bump stop issues, no dialing needed.
What I find strange is most guys not taking advantage of the highly adjustable suspensions, most find themselves not at optimal settings for the situation, and or too busy questioning the set ups and never dialing them in correctly.
Most find it to be a hassle to constantly having to fine tune, unless you spend most of your time at one track or street condition most will not even get around to fine tuning once installed.
FWIW, Most with the highly adjustable suspension have the set up sprung too tight and not ideal for both canyon and track.

Appreciate all the comments guys. To tell you the truth, I've been on the fence about modding my turbo S, might not be with me for long when the 997 Turbo comes out. The thing is, I drive it and then think that maybe I should hold on to it and start modding and enjoying it instead of letting it go for a 997 turbo, that right now at least, looks pig ugly.
I have the early H & R system and we did run into limits on adjustability in height when raising the car. H & R provided new front springs for free some 2 years later and i currently like the height and ride. Until fully adjustable in car systems are perfected and factory, there will be room for aftermarket. The shame of it is that most of that stuff comes out much later often after production has ended or we have moved on. JMO but keep your Turbo S until Porsche runs a full year of production on their new Turbo.

Thanks Dr. Jim. Everytime I drive the car, I have second thoughts on selling it. The next track day will decide if I should modify it a bit or keep it stock.

PS.If the next track day is gonna make you decide, will try to help you make up your mind
All the best
EZ1, good one on the helping me decide part
On the F1 curcuit, the higher horsepower cars would show off their power, but we will be competing in the short and very technical track, same as last time. The horsepower adantage won't be that pronounced, at least in my opinion.
If by the 520, you mean RUF's 520 package, than you're better off going for the 550 package. I've been in a GT2 with the 550 and, man is that thing a riot.
If i'm selling, I want to keep the car stock just for the sake of the next buyer. If I decide I'm keeping it, then the new H&R package would certainly be one that I'd like to consider.

Just got a bit more info on the suspension. It is indeed the exact suspension that is on the Alzen Motorsports/h&r race car. Suspension consists of---
2 front axle friction-bearing shock absorber struts, bound and rebound adjustable
2 rear axle aluminum shock absorbers
upper wheel bearings front and rear
all main and helper springs
lower wishbones, cut of high tension aluminum
front axle steering tie rods, complete
rear axle steering tie rods, complete
rear axle links, complete
The advantages of these parts are a higher solidity and a faster installation and removal. For exchanging the lower wishbones and the steering tie rods on front and rear, it is not necessary to press out the conical bolts anymore.
And the most important part price $14,750 plus installation.
Available and ready to ship.
