Hello all! New here with some questions.

Been a lurker for a while but recently registered.
Just purchased a 2004 996 Turbo from a dealership that knew very little about the car outside of the service records that came with it. Car has low miles.
It has a Fabspeed mufflerless exhaust(pretty loud but sounds good) The car, to me, pulls REALLY hard for just an exhaust. I've test driven a few of these now.
My question is, is there a way to identify if the car has a tune?

Thanks,
Rich

Is it a x50 or standard turbo? Check your boost pressure.
k16 do 0.6-0.7bar = 420HP
k24 do 0.8-0.9bar = 450 HP

Everything else means tune.

Thanks for the info. I wasnt sure how reliable the factory boost gauge is.
