I love the look of 911's with the fuel filler on the hood. Has anyone installed a fuel cell just to have this look? 2nd ?- can someone explain the differences in the tech -art kits for a 996 turbo (type 1 or 2, etc. etc.), thanks

 

Ritchie, never done the fuel cell idea, but it can be done. I agree that it would be great looking. As for the Techart here is a simple breakdown. Type 1 is the 2 add on pieces that mount to your existing bumper. Type 2 is the Vampire/gt2 look bumper without the vents by the front wheels. Type 2 GT is the same bumper, but with the vents by the front wheels. And the Type 2 GTS is the Type 2 GT bumper with the wraparound carbon lip/diffuser. Hope that helps! Marc
