265 front tires

Or those of you who have done it, what offset did you run in the front? And what wheel width?

Thanks!

I ran a 265/35/18 sports cups on a CCW C14 9" wheel no problem, I'll have to measure the back space. Really liked the feel

What size lip was on that ccw? I could probably calculate it by that.

Did you run at all?

It looks like my fronts have a 7" backspace and i also run a 5mm spacer, I had some 275 up front for a while but they did rub a bit.

Why would you want to do this? I'm asking because I'm curious. Wouldn't you lose steering feel with such a huge tire? What's the upside - improved grip? Maybe less understeer?

7in backspacing is 51 plus a 5mm spacer would put it at 46mm. My 9 in wheel is 48mm

You think I can manage?

I measured the back space from the outside of the back edge. I think you would be fine the 265/35/18 is a little shorter than a 245/40/18 also by 2mm
